We are now looking for an engaged job coach/mentor in Uppsala within the "Rusta och Matcha" program. As a mentor and job coach, you will have an independent role where you lead the daily work of guiding and matching participants enrolled in the Rusta och Matcha service via the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen).

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an extensive network of business contacts and build long-term relationships to create more opportunities for our participants.
• Map and understand the profiles and strengths of job seekers, especially those who are far from the labor market.
• Plan and conduct workshops, individual conversations, and company visits to support participants in their job search.
• Act as a coach who motivates and provides job seekers with tools and methods to achieve their goals.
• Actively work with matching to find the best and fastest path to employment or education.

We are looking for you who:

• Live in Uppsala (a requirement, as we want you to have a broad local network).
• Meet the eligibility requirements of the Swedish Public Employment Service: at least 120 higher education credits in a relevant field plus two years of work experience, or a corresponding combination of education and experience.
• Alternatively: At least one year of full-time post-secondary studies with a passing grade, plus three years of relevant work experience in areas such as recruitment, staffing, career counseling, management with personnel responsibility, or transition work.
• Have a genuine interest in people and labor market issues and are good at seeing the potential in every individual.
• Are results-oriented, used to working at a high pace, and have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Are relationship-building and empathetic, with the ability to establish contact and trust.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
